That mind set got Northland, Calvary, Tennessee Temple, Pillsbury closed, and there will be more for the very same kind of compromises. IMO, however, it is much more the case that Bauder/Doran crowd (especially with the help of the pseudo- fundamentalist Sharper Iron site) have been, in addition to bridging the gap, tearing down the walls of authentic biblical separation to have their fellowship with the compromised so- called "conservative" evangelicals many of whom are the new wave of new evangelicalism. One need look no further than Al Mohler for a litany of egregious compromises with unbelievers and disobedient brethren. You find these men in T4G, The Gospel Coalition, Resolved and many more lesser fellowships of non-separatist evangelicals.

LM

Example of and links to several articles on the compromises of Al Mohler all of which conveniently tolerated, allowed for, excused or ignored by Bauder and Doran. Many are reformed and are trying to bridge Fundamentalism with New Evangelicalism. They mix a lot of truth with a little error which is the worse kind of error. Many of these men are making friends with conservative colleges and trying to change them from the inside out (like Northland). These men should be called out and named and the public warned. Sorry for being a little off topic but I think leaders in the emerging church out to be called out by name otherwise more people will be deceived by their error.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
