I am equally concerned with the lack of discernment among pastors, teachers and Christian leaders with the obvious and egregious errors of LS. If the overseers can't recognize the danger their flock(s) are prime candidates for the deception and allurement of LS's best known advocates.

Thanks again,

Lou M.Lou Martuneachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08683967904677815711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30991724.post-64232372954870285322012-02-19T14:57:15.356-06:002012-02-19T14:57:15.356-06:00I appreciate this article for several reasons, but...I appreciate this article for several reasons, but mostly for one short statement found within it; "They instead reject LS because it “corrupts the simplicity that is in Christ” (2 Cor. 11:3) and biblically resist its spread as fervently as they would Roman Catholicism’s sacramental system because both are works based, non-saving interpretations of the Gospel.
I have long taken the position that LS is non-saving form of the Gospel, and have lost many former friends, colleagues, and my own life long mentor because of my position of LS not having any salvific power because it IS a works based gospel. Thank you for taking and stating the bare bones, bottom-line facts about Calvinism & LS vs. Fundamentalism. I am more and more disappointed in the deception that is so prevalent in some theological circles today.
BHFLU (1 John 4:19)
Roger E. Still, this had to be exposed because he has knowingly misrepresented a vast cross -section of men who identify with Fundamentalism.

LouLou Martuneachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08683967904677815711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30991724.post-69815249674574529122012-02-13T12:51:00.030-06:002012-02-13T12:51:00.030-06:00Excellent post.
